It's been different under Allen and Shanahan. They don't sell the farm for free agents and they don't get bent over in trades like Vinny was famous for.

It has been better, but look at the draft picks they gave up for an OLD qb.I sure feel we got bent over in the Mcnabb trade. If they really want Sanchez they would probably give up a first to get him

They won't. I stake my membership here on that

Report: Gruden preparing to return to coaching in 2012 | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/27/report-gruden-preparing-to-return-to-coaching-in-2012/)
So here's the most fascinating thing about this rumor: Gruden was incredibly critical of Sam Bradford during the Monday night game two weeks ago, so far to the point where he irritated Jaws with his criticism. He also suggested that RG3 could be a St. Louis Ram. During the broadcast.
Interesting. I'll have to ask my former colleagues about that.
If anyone is willing to take Tebow from Elway it's Gruden. He loves him. More than the usual love he heaps on people. Tebow and some picks for the no. 1 overall and the Broncos get Luck? Just speculating. Gruden would also be the type to want someone like a Rex Grossman. He's into the whole middle of the road veteran QB thing.
Seems like only yesterday Spags and Raheem Morris were the hotshot coordinators turned head coaches, Bradford was the stud no. 1 franchise QB and Colt McCoy was the "all he does is win" QB...and now they may all be looking for employment elsewhere. Shows how fickle the NFL is I suppose

"According to ESPN Stats & Information, Sanchez entered the day having completed just 10 passes more than 20 yards down field and was 4-of-24 when targeting Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress on deep passes."
piss poor

Lol I wouldnt want you to do that and I hope your right.Do you really believe they would be able to get Sanchez for just a 3rd or lower?
If they do try to acquire him I see multiple picks or at least a 2nd rounder

Multiple 3rds perhaps. With one being a 4th with conditions to move up to a 3rd. Or if it's at least one 2nd you could get a 4th or 5th in return.
I don't know of any team, including the Redskins, that has Sanchez as a "must have" on their QB list. But he'll be considered by a few teams, including the Redskins, should he become available.
Hail to the Redskins

Jets' Ryan: There's 'no question' Sanchez is my guy (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82570cc4/article/jets-ryan-theres-no-question-sanchez-is-my-guy?module=HP11_headline_stack)
Supposedly in this article, Ryan specifically says:
"I've said from Day One I thought he was the best quarterback in the National Football League, I even put him over Tom Brady, so of course I recognize Peyton Manning is an unbelievable quarterback," Ryan said during the ESPN 1050 interview, per the report. "But do I think it's even a consideration for us? No, I don't."
Eh.. who knows... maybe he's trying to be the next Mike Shanahan (as far as giving out honest information). lol

What else is he going to say right now?
OH Hell! I thought Shanahan was the only one that pumped the media......

If the Redskins can get him for a 3rd and a conditional 4th (3rd round ceiling) I wouldn't hate it.
I don't really like any of the top qbs in this draft, so getting a decent veteran isn't a horrible idea IMO. Barkley is the guy I want long-term. That's gonna be tough though. He'll likely be the #1 overall pick in 2013.
