That wouldn't be smart at all. Right now, his stock is high. If he goes back he risk injury and stock falling. I've been watching Baylor all season and that offensive line did a very poor job protecting RG3. He was sacked 23 times and if it wasn't for his mobility he would have been sacked and hit a hell of a lot more. The smartest thing he can do is come out. He can finish his law degree in the spring which is what he planned to do anyway.

Bingo! He's a perfect fit.

I'm thinking in terms of what's a good moves and bad ones. RG3 is a top ten pick and will have a big pay day coming into the league. He's going to get at least 10 million guaranteed. He can always go to law school. But, if he gets injured, he can kiss his nfl career goodbye. To stay would be a bad move. He would be risking way to much.

Agreed. I think it's great that he plans to be a lawyer or sports agent, but in my opinion, passing up on a big pay day would be foolish when you can go to school whenever you want. With the kind of money he'll be making, he'll be in a position to set himself up for life. Sure he could do well as a lawyer, but why not do both?

Now the Olympic thing on the other hand, I can understand that and have no issue with him deciding to compete in the Olympics.

There are reports that Kalil is going pro. Not sure if it has been stated here yet, but that would be a great sign that we will be in position to get a great QB. I would hope that Barkley would be going pro with him.

Wait a minute. I stayed in school and got my degree. Heck, I even got my graduate degree...and I'm hardly set for life

With what Matty pays you, don't lie to us like that.

I was thinking about this yesterday as well. One scenario that I could probably live with is Yates leading Houston deep in the playoffs, Houston deciding to go with Yates for the long haul, and trading Schaub to the Redskins to move up in the draft. The Redskins could then keep adding depth to the offensive line, drafting some linebackers or a good shut down safety. That would make a lot of sense for the Redskins, considering that Matt Schaub already knows Kyle's offense, so no learning curve - MS could be plugged in while the 'skins continue to build the team around him.

The Redskins could still draft a QB in 2013 or 2014, and give him time to hold a clip board like Aaron Rodgers. I could definitely live with this scenario.

Ugh...another quick fix to file away with the rest of the past 30 years. When do we get our own franchise QB instead of always settling for someone elses leftovers?

We can still get our franchise qb out of the draft.

I'm sure its been said already, but;

Sure we won today and that puts us out of position from drafting a better QB, However, the teams that are in the QB race today either won or are winning their games (Miami W, Cleveland currently winning, Seattle W)

No. Simply not true.
