I'm sure there are a lot of guys in the league that smoke, but I'm also sure most of those guys are smart about it when it comes to testing. Davis and Williams... not so much obviously.

You think the Redskins are the only team dealing with players that smoke weed?

Absolutely not. But they're the only team this season that has any players getting suspended for it. And it just so happens to be two of our best players on an otherwise terrible offensive team. One of those players is also the highest draft pick Mike Shanahan has ever made. This same guy has a $80,000 gorilla necklace, is oft-injured, and draws personal foul penalties like they're blunts.

Sad state of affairs.

You know, I could care less if a dude wants to light up J from time to time.
BUT, when you have had this many warnings and you continue for the need of the weed and put this much to risk? You may well be pulling a Ricky (as someone else pointed out).

They are the only ones dealing with possible suspensions from smoking weed.

Unlike the Green Bay Packers who just saw one of their top defensive linemen of recent years get sentenced to six years in prison for mass distribution of an illegal substance

Usually I agree with you but not this time. Johnny jolly doesn't mean to the Packers d what Fred Davis means to our o.

His point was the Skins aren't the only team dealing with these sort of things.

When he was arrested in the summer of 2008 he was a pretty key figure in their defense.

But my point was more so that even the "best" organizations have players with issues much more major than getting caught smoking weed
