I went w/ Samuels. He only allowed one sack, and has shown some commitment to Redskins. He wants to be here and I think he'll restructure.
Thomas is second simply because the guy has been solid ever since we picked him up last year. He also played injured.

samuels was great but i chose brown because we signed him and he was able fill in where ever we needed him and hold down the line. that was great.

This reminds me, Matty. We need a sarcasm button.

You get jokes!

I think Brown did an excellent job, especially considering his age, and is a great veteran leader, and Thomas had another very solid year, but I went with Samuels. He stepped up from his funk the last couple years and played well. He still isn't at the Pro Bowl level he once was, but he played with an injury all year and took a leadership role. Plus, only giving up one sack all year is impressive.

Samuels was a better tackle than Brown, but expectations should count for something here. Many of you voted against Portis, who had a 1300 yard season, because more was expected. My Brown vote was because we expect good things out of Samuels - with Brown, you expect a mentor and a locker room influence, not a starter.

I read somewhere that samuels only gave up on sack. where the hell did all the other ones come from.

I think Dockery was inconsistent. He doninate at time and got his butt kicked at times.

Thomas was solid.

Samuels rebounded from a pass happy offense to have an ok year good enough to win ball games. Raymer has had better years in the past. But I don't think you can say he was terrible.

I think when the play wasn't to Brown's side he wasn't the same blocker. He didnt stay on his man long enough. A lot of the times his man would make the tackle when the play was to the other side..That's my opinion.

But once we get are best linemen back Jasen, Brown will make a real solid back up next year.

I say Samuals had a great year. Excellent pass protection and better run blocking. If you watched, he had the speed to pull of the counter-gap and really leveled a few guys when he got out in front.
Thomas would be second, Brown third (what a great effort), Dockery next...

I really think that we have a good offensive line (with Jansen back and Brown as a reserve). We just need them to get comfortable in the system. And we need a new center!
