you cant judge a corner back by his stats.

moss is a coach killer just like jeff george. the only way i would take moss is if his babysitter cris carter came out of retirement.

btw, i dont hate moss because of the stupid shit he does. he admits to taking plays off.
he walks of the field while the game is still being played.

Everybody takes plays off. I don't know that admitting it was the right thing, but everyone does.

I really would love to have Smoot back here next year, but if he does leave I dont want us going out and trying to get Rolle, Woodson, or any other high priced CB. I would rather give Smoot the money that they will want and keep him. I am pretty sure that Rolle and Woodson will want equal to or more than what we are offering Smoot, so why let Smoot go and sign one of them for the same price or higher? Makes no sense. If anything we should let Williams try to develop some of the younger CB's on the team.

Someone made a comment about all wideouts being cocky trash talkers, sighting examples like T.O., Chad Johnson, Keyshawn, and Joe Horn. You probably forgot to mention guys like Marvin Harrison and Lavarenues Coles (and remember Art Monk?) who are team players and great receivers. As far as the Redskins are concerned, Moss is an egocentric, selfish player. His talent doesn't make up for his horrible attitude. We can easily find a talented receiver in the draft or in a trade. FORGET ABOUT MOSS! :soapbox:

Gary Clark talked trash, but his attitude wasn't trash.....that is the difference...Clark came to play football and he challenged any CB to cover him man on man...most of the time Clark won those battles....however, he was a team player....I don't believe it was all about him or the money (although some might disagree when he left for the Cards..)....I think that is the difference...Clark seemed to be a team player, Moss plays for himself ON the team...

While I respect guys like Harrison or Monk (not sure about Horne wasn't he the one with the Cell phone incident last year??)..having an out spoken trash talking WR isn't always a bad thing as long as they respect their team, themselves, and they back up the smack!

Moss is the most gifted Wideout in the league....

that aside, if he puts on the burgundy and gold, i will be quite sad. the biggest comparison between Moss and guys like TO and Chad Johnson (Joe Horn to a lesser extent) is that TO and Chad work extremely hard at perfecting their skills. TO is one of the hardest workers in the league when it comes to conditioning and reps.

not sure where i heard it, but when Moss was warming up for the Eagles game, it was said that he jogged through his routes with Culpepper. If I'm Daunte, I'm pissed...pregame is where a QB gets insync with his receivers, gets timing down, gets throws down. if Moss is half assing it, then he and Daunte aren't on the same page...P Ram is no Daunte...

just as jermus said above me...for every trash talker out there, there are 1-2 guys who are in the limelight that put up solids week in and week out. Moss would hamper down the clubhouse...we need team leaders, not crybabies that feel the need to fill quotas...

Just wondering when was the last time we had a player who talked trash or got the media talking about him. Been a very very long time. We have no hardcore players. All of our players are very quite. Well taylor is starting to make some news, which I like. How do you people know that he would bring the clubhouse down. Moss has never really had someone who will get in his face or tell him what to do. Gibbs I think would set him down along with the other coaches. Right now who does he have Tice, what a joke. When Carter was with him he was his coach and kept him straight and inline. You never heard of the bad side then. I know he needs to take a look in the mirror, but if he has a support group and players attach to him I believe he can act the way "SOCIETY" wants him to.

 are u serious, Moss never said he's bigger than the league, the media did. So what ur opinion of TO, or Chad Johnson, joe horn. I 've seen interviews where they all talked trash but the media choose not to respond to them as much as Moss. Wideouts are like cb's they are very confident and talk.
oooo wait maybe it's because moss dicked the great Greenbay team and beat farve the nfl god in the field owned by the fans... get real!! people have personalities, there not robots, and there are some assholes out there. either way no one can stop moss one-on-one period.
If there has been someone tell me who it is. If he was a skin he would free up coles, portis, and cooley. Teams are looking for a player of his caliber in the draft ie, mike williams. but you know he's the proven real deal, taught by cris carter, and virtually unstoppable so think before ya speak dog. :httr:

i beg of you to stop being a skins fan, you are more fit for the 'boys, or the eagles.

I would love to get anothe class act like Coles and win without an asshole like Randy Moss.

We're THAT close and we don't need Moss to put us over the edge.
