The Redskins are very much set on defense. We finished 13th in 2011 after finishing 31st in 2010. With the addition of Jarvis Jenkins, and maybe a reshaped secondary, maybe the Redskins can finish in the top 5 in defense in 2012.

While the defense will do its part in 2012, the key to winning games comes down to the offense. They have to put up more points. 18.4 points a game is very poor. If the Redskins were scoring 23 or even 21 points a game, I would applaud their effort. But 18.4 points a game is extremely mediocre. We have to score more points even in a losing effort in 2012.

Well, it's a bit early, but I think we've seen enough... so, who are the skins we expect back on the roster next year? Here's what I've got:

QB: ??
RB: Helu, hightower, torrain
FB: Young
WR: Moss, Gaffney, Hankerson, Armstrong
TE: Cooley a/o Davis, Paulsen
LT: Williams
LG: Lichtensteiger
C: Montgomery
RG/RT/6th OL: ??

DL: Bowen, Cofield, Carrikker , Jenkins, Neild
LB: Fletcher, Orakpo, Kerrigan, Perry
DB: ???
ST: Rocca

Need: QB/OL/DB/MLB

now, there's not a lot of depth listed here, and that's mainly because it's replaceable. guys like barnes etc are fine, but if they got switched out, I don't think it really changes much for us.

and what the F happened to zo? he looked good last year, but in 2011 he has 10 tackles.

I agree, but we need to draft a couple of lineman and get a bigtime FA WR like Reggie Wayne

Honestly, we'd be better to grab a couple FA OL guys like Grubbs, Harris, or whoever because whether we plug in a vet QB or RGiii - that line has to be effective right away. Can't do that with an NFL learning curve.

And BTW - there are 600 FA's this year, most are unrestricted. I'm confident we will solidify the OL before the draft.

The Ravens have a lot of mouths to feed this offseason and Grubbs may get the short end. That would be a great pick up.

Do the Ravens pre-chew the food before they feed those mouths? :)

In this light, Steve Bisciotti is a carcass.

We need to improve our pass defence. Raheem Morris is a start. Getting rid of D Hall would also help. I just don't trust the guy to deliver when it matters.

I thought we might need a pretty good laugh....
Babin agrees Eagles weren't far from Super Bowl (http://www.csnphilly.com/blog/eagles-talk/post/Babin-agrees-Eagles-werent-far-from-Supe?blockID=649658&feedID=3041)

To me they may have had the better record but the looked like crap getting there. I thought the Skins had better team work. I mean who takes their OL coach and makes him the DC? Their whole DL looked like crap all year. "9-Wide" lol. and with out fixing that situation I don't see them doing any better. If I was Reid I'd move him back to OL where he had that team playing well and I'd go out and get a DC.
