Hall at this point is year-to-year contractually. It's as cheap to cut him now as he's ever going to be because almost all of the remaining money in his contract is in non-guaranteed salary. In other words, if you wanted to sign Stanford Routt or Brandon Carr, you could do so under the cap for less money than it would take to keep Hall on the roster. I thought DHall was a dummy last year. I wouldnt bring him for starters money. REDSKINS4ever 02-10-2012, 06:35 PM I agree with Joe Theismann. We don't need Peyton Manning. At most, he'll play for 3 years. We need to draft a quarterback who is a long term solution. Part of the reason why this team has finished 5-11, 9-7, 8-8, 4-12, 6-10, and 5-11 the last six seasons is inconsistent play at the quarterback position. This is more the reason to trade up and draft Robert Griffin III skinsfaninok 02-10-2012, 06:48 PM what I THINK our roster will look like.. TW has very little bonus left in his contract ($1.8M). The bulk of it is salary and roster bonuses. His cap hit for 2012 is $12.6M, but $11M of it is salary.beautiful, thanks cc Evilgrin 02-11-2012, 10:44 AM I'd take carr or grimes over hall... not sure routt is a good option though. Carr is pretty good, I'd jump all over him if the Chiefs dont sign him or tag him. It's gonna be hard for them to cover both Carr & Bowe. The redskins could use either. I could be wrong but I beleive KC have alot of money to spend in FA. diehardskin2982 02-11-2012, 02:36 PM I could be wrong but I beleive KC have alot of money to spend in FA. True they do have a fair amount of cap space however, the Chiefs are not a large market team and may not want to spend the amount needed to keep both players. |
