Off-topic for a second, but any of you old school people remember when preseason games were held in different places?

Manny's 2012 Washington Redskins NFL Mock Draft | Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1034641-mannys-2012-redskins-nfl-mock-draft)
I posted this because I was watching the North Seniors practice & Zietler OG looks good, saw Schwartz OT real quick looks OK.

I really think that any mock draft that has us taking RG3 should include their explanation on how we are going to acquire him (trade up) and skip the 2nd round.

What if Cleveland does in fact draft Trent Richardson?? RGIII could fall to us at six and BANG!

Not happening, Trent isn't AD and he wasn't drafted at in the top 3 either, rbs are a dime a dozen

Trent isn't a dime a dozen kind of prospect, he could definitely go to 5 and could drop to 17 to Cincy but he is an amazing prospect as AP was and wouldn't cry if he ended up being a Redskin. Just watch some of his highlights and compare them to AP's college highlights.

Yeah, but the shelf life on RBs is so short, and teams routinely win Super Bowls without an elite RB. Willie Parker, Joseph Adai, Whoever ran for the Pats those 3 years, the endless rotation of backs for the Giants. Did the Packers even have a Running Back on the roster last year? The Saints when they won it all? It's a passing league now. Don't see any RBs carrying their team to the promised land anytime soon. Not a smart move at 6. Bengals, however, might think they're a playmaker away from being for real.

The Seattle playoff game in '07?
Didn't we lose?
The only playoff game we have won since like 2000 is the 2005 win against the Bucs. ST made a game changing play in that game.
I'll give you GB last year, but if we really looked at it how many games has his play lost us a game? I know that for a fact that he was not in the end of the Houston game last year, when Reed Doughty gave up the game tying TD to Andre J. in the final seconds. He wasn't there because he hurt himself early in the fourth quarter.
He misses more games and also plays out of position enough that not paying him a ton of money is a really good idea.
He also might want out of DC making this conversation mute.
Then you also may have a scenario where there isn't a big market for him in the range of what he wants out of his next contract, outside of DC b/c of the salary cap not moving much the next couple of years. Look at last years deals, some of the pundents site the lockout but others contend that the new CBA cap restraints for the next couple of years may play a factor in teams not signing long contracts.
