SkinItup 01-04-2012, 01:50 AM Just curious what people think about getting Stevie Johnson, if the Bills let him walk. I wouldn't mind seeing him along with Hank as our top WRs next season. McCardell would need to control his TD celebration antics, but I think this is minor compared to a diva like DJax.
Did you see his second game against Revis? 8 catches and a td. Not many people put up those numbers on Revis. It looked even more impressive when you saw him create separation. He is certainly worth trying to sign but I doubt the Bills let him go.
SBXVII 01-05-2012, 11:57 AM Ok, I saw this on another site (Boo) but it was fun to look at. Every year we get excited for the next year and when that year arrives we seem to get let down. So, in normal fashon let the excitement begin again... lol.
Redskins following Rams' template for rebuilding?
In an effort to take any sliver of factual information and twist it into something unrecognizable, I present to you irrefutable PROOF (!!!) that Mike Shanahan is copying Dick Vermeil's template to rebuilding the Rams.

T.O.Killa 01-05-2012, 11:59 PM After watching the Eagles game, I think I missed that Tyler Polumbus played very well in the run and in the pass. We was on Babin for most of the game and did fairely well.
GTripp0012 01-06-2012, 12:58 AM I'd rather bet on flynn than campbell. we know campbell is, at best, a slight improvement.Flynn seems like a huge money dump though. It seems more preferable to pay for future performance you can value from a guy like Chad Henne, Jason Campbell, Kyle Orton, David Garrard or even Vince Young. I think we're wise enough to know that throwing money at a problem doesn't do anything to solve it.
The thing with Flynn is that once you get him by outbidding more WCO based teams like Seattle and Cleveland, where do you set the expectations? If slight improvement isn't what we're looking for, why did we go after a backup? If you set the expectations at the level of the contract you signed him to, I think he will struggle to meet those expectations.

Of course, even if we get our Torry Holt in the draft, and already have our Orlando Pace and Grant Withstrom, I'm not sure where we are getting our Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, or Kurt Warner from.
Bubba305-ST21- 01-06-2012, 06:02 AM or the other small speedy receiver i forget his name, or our dre bly (in his prime). we do have our london fletcher though!!

Flynn could get the same contract that Rodgers is playing for now. And yes, Rodgers should be renegotiating soon...

Wasn't that free agent back-up Trent Green? That he got from us? He was playing at a high level for the Rams before his injury ushered in the Kurt Warner era. Maybe we should get Flynn, draft a guy in rounds 1 or 2 and find a guy bagging groceries somewhere. My money is on the bagger;)
musicmaster45 01-07-2012, 07:25 PM I've been watching Ryan Kerrigan videos and man that kid is a baller. Great guy, Hard Worker. I'm so excited to see him continue to grow for the Redskins over the next few years. Props to Allen/Shanahan for the pick
SFREDSKIN 01-07-2012, 09:00 PM One advantage the Redskins will have is that Shanahan and his staff will be coaching the South squad in the senior bowl.
