I actually see 7-9 as a realistic possibility. Not the most probable, but Philly, the Jets, and the Vikings all seem beatable to me.

I think our 1 win will come from the Vikings. I don't think we will beat the Eagles as I'm sure Vick will be back. I don't see us beating the Jets either. I know they are a streaky team but they have more talent on both sides of the ball than us right now.

If Miami drafts before us you can kiss barkley good bye

I agree. I put us in the middle of the 5-11 teams because it is a coin flip luck of the draw placement anyway. If we do not get pick 1-5 we will most likely have to trade up to get the QB we want, even if it is not to #1 overall, especially if a lot of these QB's stay in college as rumored.

but if we have the same record as miami , wouldnt we draft ahead of them, since they beat us?

I believe you're right.

And I think we're done winning. I think Minnesota will beat us, and we'll finish 4-12. Our main threats to pick a better than us is Arizona and Seattle (now). Had we of lost we probably would have had the #3 overall pick of the year.

I see your argument, but you don't tell the team to lose. You play the rookies and depend on them a lot more, than the vets. You play more of DHall type vets rather than the London Fletcher type of vets. Thats two ways you get worse now, without telling your team you want them to lose.
Culture is culture, if the coach sets the team up to lose, then the players will know that. You play to win the game. Anything else is just a dumb plan. Aaron Rodgers was a late 1st, Brady was a 6th. This is just a silly topic that gives fans with a mediocre team something else to complain that the team didn't do right.

As Sanchez goes, so do the Jets. We rough him up, we have a chance.

We were able to hold Vick's Eagles to 20 points earlier in the season.

im not worried about draft position right now, id rather see my team winning and ending the season on a high note heading in the right direction. thats what is most important imo.

So we want the redskins to be nasty, dominate team in the future, but they should be taught to lose so we can have better draft position?

Dumb Dumb Dumb.

Let me see, you kinda got it yes. See we fans who are thinking draft position are not asking anything more then for them (the team) to do what they've always done in the past. lose.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan who hates the team losing. Not just because I'm depressed but because this city always has a thick cloud over it after a loss.

Am I wrong to hope for a loss, yes. What I'd like to see is this team showing spunk and playing it's games close, showing it can or could win the games, the whole time giving the young guys playing time so they will be ready next year. If we were to win here and there and stay at 5,6, or 7th place in the draft, and do what? take a RT? CB? FS? WR?

If some of you are correct and only two QB's decide to come out then we might or might not get lucky with picking a decent QB. and we will be hard pressed to find a decent QB in the second round on, possible think of Dalton and their probably will be another Dalton entering the draft, but everyone here had him 4th round or beyond and not making it in the NFL.

If the other half of you fans are correct and all decide to come out then yes there will be some 4-5 decent QB's to chose from. Picking the right one for the system is the key. In either situation it's a matter of picking the right one for this scheme. Luck will be gone. No way the Colts give up their #1 pick in which they too desperatly need a QB cause their beloved Manning is on the down side. Their current #2 didn't turn out the way they expected and they had to look elsewhere. They are definitly taking a QB at #1. So out of the remaining which one fits the scheme best? I'm asking which one whether he plays in an NFL system or not which one fits the system best.

This is why I'd prefer we lose cause in the long run it's about how many remain that will be declaring and which ones fit this scheme and what are our chances of getting them.

2012 Projected Draft Order **Note: Draft order subject to change**
1. Indianapolis Colts 0-16
2. Minnesota Vikings 2-14
3. St. Louis Rams 2-14
4. Carolina Panthers 4-12
5. Miami Dolphins 5-11
6. Washington Redskins 5-11
7. Jacksonville Jaguars 5-11
8. Tampa Bay 6-10
9. Arizona 6-10
10. Kansas City Chiefs 6-10

As Tim Ryan on SiriusXM NFL radio would say, "Talk about it".Minnesota will beat Denver next week. The Rams are absolutely bad enough to lose out. Bradford looks awful. We could end up picking behind the Browns as well. I think Jacksonville will steal two games against that soft schedule. Miami could win more than they lose.

We'll probably pick behind Indianapolis, St. Louis, Carolina, Minnesota and then maybe Arizona, Cleveland, and Jacksonville. So between 5th and 8th.

Well put. All I care about is seeing improvement with the young guys and ending the season on a high note. Gotta lotta pride in the locker room and the effort is totally there. There is good opportunity for young guys to get better. Saw it today with Helu, Hankerson was putting it together a couple weeks ago, Banks been better in the return game lately, Barnes playing better in coverage, Mo Hurt getting that experience, Riley turning into that future stater, Terrance Austin not being a worthless POS (oops he still is), but im looking to see who the next guy to step up and play well. Gomes im looking at you.
