Andrew Brandt even said that he expects him to become a Bear, not sure how, but it sounded like these guys (D. gottlieb & Ryan Recilo (sp?)) thought Orton w/the Chiefs was not a given even though they claimed him. GTripp0012 11-23-2011, 06:46 PM Man the Bears are in trouble down the stretch.Two thoughts on the Bears: 1) Caleb Hanie may or may not grow into a starting NFL quarterback, but he's almost certainly better than the guys out there who would represent other options. 2) Jay Cutler was starting to get tons of credit for an incredibly mediocre level of play. When I was reading about this pft brought up when marty shotenhimer claimed deion after we released him because he knew deion wouldnt play for him.
