Damnit you have to upload it. I haven't seen it in years. Here, go back to that site. Save the picture to your hard drive and then upload it through TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting (http://www.tinypic.com) which requires no user name to upload pics.

My fathers heathen cowboys season ticket holder mother remarried an attorney on Capital Hill and moved the old man to Maryland where he became a Redskins fan as a child. I followed suit at age 8 when John Elway started that Super Bowl off with a TD and then the mighty Doug Williams proceeded to mop the floor with Elway for the next 59 minutes and 30 seconds. I'm happy to say that my extended family still owns a Box at Cowboys stadium and I have never and will never watch a game from their seats. Cowboys can suck it.

I grew up in a household full of Redskin fans so it's natural that I became one. I've been watching the Redskins play since 1976 or 1977 so I've been a fan since the George Allen era all the way through the glory years of Gibbs I up until now. I'll always be a fan.

Gary Clark mainly, and The Posse as a whole are my first memories of being a Redskins fan. Gary Clark is still one of my favorite football players of all times.
A non-redskin who I use to love was Sterling Sharpe, I wish he never had that neck injury.

Moved to the DC area when I was 6 in 1969 (Is that right CRed? - I was pretty sure I went to 1st grade in Camp Springs). The first football game I remember was the 1972 Super Bowl with Miami. Grew up in a house where we always rooted for the Skins and sort of followed them. My bedroom wall had pictures of all the 1970's guys that I would cut out of the Newspaper (the Washington Star and the Post) - Dave Butz, Mike Thomas, Hanburger, Jake Scott, Joe Lavender, Ken Houston. Just naming them all brings back warm memories. Larry Brown, Billy Kilmer, Rusty Tilman, Pete Wysocki (what a great name!), Mark Mosely, Brad Dusek ....
When I went to college, Joe Gibbs came to town and throughout my college and law school days they were a team that was easy to root for when out with my friends.
The last 20 years or so have been tough but I guess I just can't remember a time when I didn't root for the Skins.
BTW - good stories one and all.

Grew up in DC then Arlington in the late 70's. I used to go to Dulles when the team's plane would come in. Watched George Micheal every night and most Sundays would turn off the sound and listen to Frank, Sonny and Sam (before senility kicked in). Went to four Super Bowl parades (including the Raiders loss where we had a bigger turnout than the winning Raiders). I've always loved football even though my father never watched and my mother really loved the team but didn't understand football. The whole city loved the team. When I came to NC the biggest culture shock was the lack of NFL fanaticism in general. Here it's ACC basketball and NASCAR (though the Hurricanes are becoming pretty popular). I cried when Diesel broke his infamous dive in SB XVII and when JKC and ST died. To me, the Redskins are family. I can point out their horrendous mistakes and cuss them, but I'll punch anyone else who does (unless another Skin family member of course). And just like my sisters, no mater how screwed up they become, I'm there. I've missed two games since I was seven years old and been to dozens though mostly at other team's stadiums.

Because my parents are JERKS!!!!
For serious though - I was born in DC and grew up In MoCo where my parents and family were all rabid Skins fans. It helps that I was born a few months before Riggo's run in the Super Bowl.
I still remember being a Redskin for Halloween '87, and although I was only 5 I can still remember how crazy my family went during SBXXII.
As I mentioned here before I was luck enough to go to Art Monk's football camp the summers before and after SBXXVI. I got to meet Art, Darrell Green, Charles Mann, and a ton of other awesome players from the glory days.
I kind of feel off in the mid to late 90's before I went totally die hard during my sophomore year of college.
Ten years and MANY losses later, I'm still obsessed regardless of how much pain they cause me.

I am a Boston fan for everything else as my father did not give me much of a choice but he was not that big of a football fan and I lived in Bowie when I first realized what football was (think I was five or so) so I latched on then a have been hooked ever since!
