I'm glad to see Royster move up. Let's see what he's got. We need to know if he can play.

Coff 11-24-2011, 11:54 AM I know this doesn't fit under this thread, but I don't want to start a new one: What's the word on Dejon Gomes? Is he going to see any action this year? Is he likely to stay on the roster? etc etc MTK 11-24-2011, 11:55 AM I know this doesn't fit under this thread, but I don't want to start a new one: What's the word on Dejon Gomes? SmootSmack 11-24-2011, 12:37 PM I have heard rumors since the summer, though I don't know if actually true, that Shanahan thinks Royster (and not Helu) is the rookie RB more capable of being a #1 back. Let's see REDSKINS4ever 11-24-2011, 03:26 PM The last time we saw Royster was in the final preseason game against Tampa Bay. He fumbled on his first carry of that game. He had a few runs, but that seemingly was the reason why we haven't seen him until this season. Tashard Choice got an opportunity, but was cut too soon in my opinion. The Dallas Cowboys run defense is very good, and it wasn't Choice's fault that he had only 7 yards on six carries. Mike Shanahan micro manages entirely too much. Torain had only a 1.9 per carry average the past few games, which is mainly due to the offensive line allowing too much penetration on running plays. Choice didn't get a fair chance. |
