When he saw what Hall got I would say he wanted the same, especially since he's a better CB than Hall.
Which would have been easy for him to do if he had held on to pass thrown at his hands, since he already had the other skills. But according to our FO/coaching staff, he didn't and they let him walk after he didn't take our offer (I believe we gave him an offer).

I thought letting him go was a mistake even though he couldn't catch a cold. My guess is that the 49ers had him work with their WR's coach which is something I don't think we ever did

Hall did.
Carlos could have gotten paid close to Nnamdi money if he caught INTs. I know you despise Hall and he can't do nothing right in your eyes, but this discussion doesn't need to be about Hall (because Rogers was technically replaced by Wilson). Carlos left this team with an attitude and bad-mouthed the team on his way out.

What would you rather have your corner do. Catch Int's? Or cover and tackle? Sorry but a corners first job is to cover. Right?
Wait, I say Hall's contract was ****ing stupid and you think I'm defending Hall? The hell?
10 million dollar corners shut players down and make big plays. They are the COMPLETE package.

I think that Los has good reasons to feel negative about his time in DC. He played pretty well as a cover corner (though not as a playmaker) and deserved to be treated better than he was over the years.
That said, he did not seem to recognize that there is a new sheriff in town and that he would be treated better under Shanallen. Instead he chose to whine, jump ship, and not make as much as he wanted. That is all his fault.

I guess my point is, rogers attitude toward this team was warranted and atleast understandable. Players want to re-new their contract when they are entering their final season of a deal so they have future security in case they get a major injury in their final season.
2009 and 2010 the skins left carlos hanging with no future security.
Id wouldnt have nice things to say either. I also was miffed at carlos for his comments mid-2010 season when he said "he didnt want to risk playing hurt and get injured for this team and put bad tape out there" . .. but i understand where he was coming from. After 2009 and then not re-signing him before 2010, the skins didnt have his back at all so should he?

OMG!! im shocked that ex players go to another team and rip the Redskins organization. I mean how could anyone dare trash the stability and success that this organization has shown over the last 20 years. Our team is a model of consistency and well oiled machine! Screw Carlos!

I'm just sayin' ..you're calling out Carlos for not catching int's. Yeah he didn't catch the ball, he's not a top corner, but I'd take him over any of these bums we currently have.

Carlos left this team with an attitude and bad-mouthed the team on his way out.Hall is mostly irrelevant to this discussion. It's just that his case totally dismisses the idea that Carlos "didn't do enough" here to get paid. He did, and did not get paid.
The bitterness is getting really old already, so I think it's fair to rip him for that. It's not like Jason Campbell rips the Redskins every chance he gets. But the reason that Carlos Rogers had to leave in order to get paid is not a symptom of his skill set or inconsistencies. It's a problem with the Redskins, bottom line.
Just treat him like we did Ryan Clark after he left. The decision to move on was defensible, but backfired.

F Rogers.. He is finally having a good season and all of the sudden he's the next Deion? Everyone knows our organization has seen better days but this bum getting any press for saying so is ridiculous. Class act and team player are words never associated with Rogers at all. He was benched and he quit on his team so his opinion means slightly less to me than that of a drunken asleep hobo.
