Build the Redskins for 2012skinsfaninok 11-14-2011, 12:35 AM ^ speak for yourself bro I'm tired of losing IrMitchell 11-14-2011, 12:39 AM ^ speak for yourself bro I'm tired of losing Lol it's an opinion more Redskins fans should have. We're going to suck regardless. mbedner3420 11-14-2011, 12:43 AM Lol it's an opinion more Redskins fans should have. We're going to suck regardless. I doubt we will suck as much as people think next yr. If we draft a Qb and horde lineman, things should click pretty quick for us. I could see us 8-8 or 9-7 next year. We have a difficult schedule next year, but it's doable. IrMitchell 11-14-2011, 12:44 AM I doubt we will suck as much as people think next yr. It all comes down to if we pick the right QB or not. sdskinsfan2001 11-14-2011, 12:46 AM thing is tannehill isnt a viable option to start from day 1, nor is he a 1st round qb imo. Tannehill couldnt be any worse next year than Beck or Grossman. Plus he is young, has upside, and can really move around in the pocket and run if needed. Plus if we traded back we would pick up an extra pick to get another player to help out. I think Tannehill is worth the risk if we can get him in the back half of the 1st round if RGIII is not available or goes back to school. mbedner3420 11-14-2011, 12:47 AM It all comes down to if we pick the right QB or not. At this point I'm not terribly worried about that. We could be looking at the second pick of the draft. Aside from luck, we could get whoever we want. After Luck it should be Barkley, this kid will be a great QB in the pro's. mbedner3420 11-14-2011, 12:51 AM After Luck it should be Barkley, this kid will be a great QB in the pro's. Initially I didn't like him (what with the recent crop of terrible USC qbs) but I'm warming up to him. diehard 11-14-2011, 01:17 AM In the top half of the draft, the team should target a QB, OT, and a S/CB. I just don't think this team is far away from turning it around. Right now, Shanahan is trying to shuffle guys around to see who's capable of stepping up but, it's also causing a disruption with team chemistry. CultBrennan59 11-14-2011, 02:41 AM Grubbs is the only name I've heard, but I'm sure there are more. As far as FAs, I'd be tempted to go hard after Rice or Forte Ok, RB is the only position that A) we don't Really need B) is something we can get in the draft C) is what shanahan is known for getting in late rounds/UDFA So no, even though they are great players. Forte I feel like if he got paid he'd be lazy anyway. And can you please Repeat what you said a few weeks back about how you heard that we are NOT interested in Matt Barkley, the QB from USC. Nor should we be since A) he's flat footed B) he's still young and needs another season to mature C) He's not that accurate D) he's playing with talent that makes him look better than he is E) he's a USC QB; they aren't your top QB's in the NFL, they're just solid (Sanchez-ok, Palmer-decent, Leinart-bust, Cassel-decent [didn't even play at USC]) |
