Guy has both, no question...if only he cracked 5' 10". skinsfaninok 11-16-2011, 03:28 PM I'm not a college fan so I'm guessing he's got another year of college or more? red shirt jr SBXVII 11-16-2011, 04:26 PM red shirt jr Ok this is where I show how smart I am. lol. NOT. I don't get the whole "red shirt" stuff. I know, I know. Poke fun all you want I can take it. Atleast I hope. lol. The term redshirt freshman indicates an academic sophomore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophomore) (second-year student) who is in his first season of athletic eligibility. A redshirt freshman is distinguished from a true freshman (first-year student) as one who has practiced with the team for the prior season. The term redshirt sophomore is also commonly used to indicate an academic junior (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junior) (third-year student) who is in the second season of athletic eligibility. After the sophomore year, the term redshirt is rarely used, in favor of fourth-year junior and fifth-year senior (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senior). So if I'm reading this are you saying he's in his fourth-year of school but is considered a Junior because of being red shirted? SmootSmack 11-16-2011, 04:39 PM Great fit for KS's system, quick reads, high accuracy is a must. Guy has both, no question...if only he cracked 5' 10". Kellen Moore has that and cracks 5'10"...barely Slingin Sammy 33 11-16-2011, 04:46 PM Kellen Moore has that and cracks 5'10"...barelyBetween Moore & Chase, I'd get Chase if he goes FA. I don't know what his contract status is. No problem with a 4th or so on Moore. SmootSmack 11-16-2011, 05:54 PM Between Moore & Chase, I'd get Chase if he goes FA. I don't know what his contract status is. No problem with a 4th or so on Moore. He's a restricted free agent. Saints have no intention of letting him go. But he could start here |
