We've got a guy in the top five (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writers/don_banks/01/14/top.five/index.html)

So who do you guys think are the top 5 Redskins Bad Boys of All Time?

Riggins is pretty bad ass but....DEXTER MANLEY is not only one of the most bad ass Redskins but one of the most bad ass players ever.

I have a question. I'm sorry if I get Manley confused with the other guy, but one of them couldn't read or write. Now, didn't this player also go to college? If so, did the NCAA ever have any sort of fine levied on his school for graduating (or accepting and keeping) a player who couldn't even read/write?

My question is bad boys on the field or off?

The article mentions Namath & Riggens as bad boys off the field, but I got the impression that Tatum was more of a bad boy on the field.

Anyways, as far as off the field, you gotta think about beer guzzling Sonny and his antics right off the bat.

As far as on the field, man, I wouldn't know where to start, we've had some real bad ass skins throughout the years...

good question rome. I would say off the field, because the article seems to say that what made Jack Tatum a real bad boy was his attitude off the field regarding his on-field hit of Stingley

Daseal, it was Manley who got a scholarship to Oklahoma State despite being illiterate. I don't know if OK State was punished for that though

As for bad boys I'm not going to count former Skins DB Raphel Cherry, who is currently in prison for murdering his wife.

So honestly I'm stumped, I can't think of bad boys off the field

Right now, I have to say Dexter Manley is the "baddest" player we have had play for the Redskins. I seem to recall one game where he got into a little scuffle after the play was dead, grabbed the guy's face mask and pulled the helmet clean off the guy's head. Needless to say, the fight didn't last very long.

Absolutely

How about Albert Connell? Granted it was after he left the Redskins but stealing money from his teammate Deuce McCalister's locker! That's just low
