Everything will be ok once Tashard Choice steps on the field for us next week...
Positions Which Need to Be AddressedSmootSmack 11-07-2011, 01:51 PM Everything will be ok once Tashard Choice steps on the field for us next week... Ruhskins 11-07-2011, 01:52 PM Everything will be ok once Tashard Choice steps on the field for us next week... ...and fumbles the ball. LOL. Can he catch out of the backfield. I think our attack next week should be Beck at shotgun with Helu on one side and either Paul or Hank on the other side, Davis at TE and Gaffney and Paul/Austin at WRs. Let the WRs run deep, Davis as a decoy and throw it to the shotgun RB or WR. Chico23231 11-07-2011, 02:24 PM Everything will be ok once Tashard Choice steps on the field for us next week... You think Retard Choice is the answer? SmootSmack 11-07-2011, 02:41 PM Our best player is always the next available guy. That's why Jonathan Crompton, Tashard Choice, and Aldrick Robinson shall lead us! Dirtbag59 11-07-2011, 02:53 PM The announcers said it best during the game. This offseason, the Redskins drafted mainly for defense. The defense is better than last year. This coming offseason, they must draft for offense. The must draft a quarterback or trade up to get one depending on where they finish. I've seen a few mock drafts where they have the Redskins drafting Matt Barkley of USC and Robert Griffin III of Baylor. Griffin III is definitely the better QB. They need a CB and possibly a veteran WR through free agency. And maybe one or two offensive lineman. Barkley and Griffin III are long shots to come out in this draft. And apparently Landry Jones is going to stay one more year as well. The real class of QB's is likely to look like this. 1st Round Luck - Stanford Folles - Arizona 2nd Round Tannenhill - A&M 3rd Round Kirk Cousins - Michigan State Brandon Weeden - Ok State Kellen Moore Compare that to last year. 1st Round Newton Locker Gabert Ponder 2nd Round Dalton Kapernick 3rd Round Mallet See what happens when you wait a year?!?!! Ruhskins 11-07-2011, 03:19 PM QB- Someone who is accurate and can throw deep. Mobility is probably a last point since Becks mobility is hardly being used. OL- Need more youth and talent. I'd take more OT since everyone else is guard material. FS- We need someone who can actually play the position from sideline to sideline. CB- Someone who can shut down one side of the field. WR- A playmaker. I'd take the best FA WR available no matter the cost and pick up another from the draft. Hopefully next year our WR's we already have will be developed. You need either a high draft pick or pay a lot of money in free agency in order to get this (unless you get very lucky with a low draft pick). At this point, I really want to use the majority of our resources in the offense, and I don't see a dire need to spend a lot of money on a shut down corner. Tashard Choice, RB, Georgia Tech Scouting Report - 2008 NFL Draft Prospect (http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?prospect_id=1391) According to this, he sounds similar to what Hightower is now. Tashard Choice Scouting Report - The War Room Report (http://warroomreport.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=86&Itemid=1) But according to this, he needed some more polish in pass catching. Fantasy Football Crystal Ball: Tashard Choice | Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/93221-fantasy-football-crystal-ball-tashard-choice) But this individual praises his pass catching ability. One thing is for sure though, the dude runs hard. Lotus 11-07-2011, 04:31 PM See what happens when you wait a year?!?!! Next year's QB class is better. Ruhskins 11-07-2011, 05:37 PM More WRs!!! JasonLaCanfora Jason La Canfora by RickMaese Redskins looking to add a depth WR today. Making some calls (no, not to TO or Randy Moss, as a preemptive answer). More like journeyman vets. Gary84Clark 11-07-2011, 06:11 PM If you are waiting on a roster that has stars at every position IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Coaches put players in postions to succeed, it is easy to cry roster but we have players. We should be able to do something. We should be able to do what our players are capable of. On this board people do not like players like Crabtree, Braylon Edwards, QBs from spread offenses that run, or players from the U like Gore. Those players have talent we keep passing them up and then losing to them. |
