Cooley got nicked up a bit last season also. He has seen a lot of action since Gibbs drafted him. I hope Shanny retains him, but the taeam might decide to draft another TE or get a younger FA.

We do have Paulsen. He's no Cooley but he looked pretty solid. Surprised me.

Feel bad for Cooley but I think his career here is over. Not really a big loss on the field cause he was a non factor. It's Davis' time and position now.

Well said. I do think there's a chance we would resign him to backup Davis if he takes a pay cut though.

They might need to give Davis, Cooley's current cap number to resign him ($5 to $6 million a year).

So close dude.... It wasn't after the season, he was actually cut last week to repair his knee.

I hope at the end of the season someone compiles the numbers on injuries league wide. It sure seems like there have been a lot more on all the teams. I have no clue if that is just an impression I have or it is really the case.
