And any word on Fletch, I didn't see his injury. Also the announcers said that he had been vomitting throughout the first half as well (I think that's what they said)

Hope he's ok, and able to go going forward.

I guess its a hamstring injury for Fletcher. I didnt know he was vomitting, Rex had the flu (Austin would have went in if Beck went down) so maybe Fletcher got sick from Rex?

Washington Redskins think Tim Hightower tore ACL, source says - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7143461/washington-redskins-think-tim-hightower-tore-acl-source-says)

Yeah, thats been the case since early this morning. Hightower says that he didnt feel or hear a pop so im hoping theres a chance..... It did look bad though considering there was no contact. I guess well know later today or tomm morning.

Also i think SS mentioned in another thread Moss has a broken hand and will miss a month.

Shanny said after the game yesterday that Rex had pneumonia and was running a 103 degree fever before the game. Yikes!

The question is did THT do enough to earn a spot next yr? Like Gtripp said, he's in the last yr of his rookie deal. He's a good in pass pro, solid catching the ball, but I was a bit underwhelmed with his regular season performances, in terms of running the football. His hard work, dedication, and attitude aren't in question, but I think we've established he's not nearly the runner Torain and Helu are. He came in the season as the starter, hoping for a breakout year, but never really established himself as the "everydown" "everyweek" starting RB I thought he could be before the season.

Shanahan typically doesn't really have an "everydown, every week" back. He's had an exception or two over his career, but he loves the committee approach.

It's an interesting point, though. Will Tim be back next year? Who knows. I guess it depends on how Helu/Torain play the rest of the season. One thing is for sure, if we want Hightower on the team next year, we can sign him to a much cheaper contract because of this injury than we could have if he stayed healthy and played well all year.
