Quite simply, who do you NEVER want to suit up in a game for the Redskins again? Heyer wore this crown proudly for most of us for a number of years but since he's gone it's time to continue to purge the pathetic roster wasters..
My nominees:
Reed Doughty-He's always a step late, a beat wide, a yard too short. The guy simply does nothing well enough to warrant a roster spot, nonetheless game action. We drafted Gomes, let the kid play. He cannot do worse than Doughty!
Kevin Barnes-Terrible at corner, terrible at safety, does nothing special on teams.. Why is he still getting playing time?

Barnes and Doughty for sure.
I think Grossman is as good as gone anyway.

Yeah, since our biggest problems are these depth 2nd stringers. Ugh.

I just don't get people's obsession with 2nd and 3rd stringers and thinking that getting rid of them will solve everything.
Orakpo didn't have a good game, neither did Kerrigan. Our d-line had no push, and our MLBs did not stop the run. Our starting DBs got schooled by Smith in the second half.
But yeah, let's start a thread to complain about guys that are perennial back ups, b/c that's where the problem is at.

It's definitely an all around problem, including the starters as well. Depth is the issue because the main guys are getting injured and the backups blow. But I suppose that's why they're backups and not starters.

This seems to be what people don't get. I don't mind when these 2nd and 3rd stringers don't play. ..well I do mind but they are backups, no more and no less. I think it is a bigger deal when your starters don't play well. And I feel that a lot of defensive starters did not play well today.
