There are worse things a player has done in the past few years. I'll take that childishness over running to "the star" anyday.
The NFL will fine him 5 G's - which he could care less about - and people will talk all week about "childish Randy" instead of the Vikings vs. the Eagles. I'd say that's a benefit to the Vikings, wouldn't you?

While I don't condone such antics by a classless piece of overpaid garbage at least he didn't go "Artest" on the fans.

I laughed when I saw it on TV, and had a 10 minute conversation with the bartender at my local Red Lobster about how much of a pansy that Joe Buck is...
Should Moss be fined? Sure...but more for his sideline language than mooning the crowd...
Would I want Moss on the Redskins? Nope...and I wouldn't look back. He has the talent, but to call him a leader isn't quite accurate. And if he is, I wouldn't want him leading me if I were playing. He doesn't set a great example for a team to follow...he played through those injuries for personal reasons (to extend a games played streak), and now has reaggrevated his ankle injury...and he gives up on routes when he knows the ball isn't coming to him. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't follow someone who said that he only plays when he wants to. And for me, leaving the field at FedEx was the icing on the cake on how he feels about his team, the league and the game. He'll be in Minnesota for life because they are the only ones who will put up with his crap. You think a guy like Mariucci or Gibbs is going to have the Moss Factor?
My biggest beef...when several writers (including Tony Kornheiser on The Sports Reporters yesterday afternoon on 980) comparing Moss to TO, and their antics...they believed that Moss had more evil intentions than TO...and i agree with the pompon routine....but the Star incidents in Dallas, and sharpie...TO was just trying to show up the fans and his opponent, just like Moss did...

I agree with anyone saying that I wouldn't want Randy on the Redskins. I do feel that Gibbs might be able to change his tone, but I don't think that it would be worth the risk. Either he would sit down and shape up, or he would just completely blow off the team and I would think there's more of a chance of him blowing off the team than listening to what Gibbs has to say.

Where I grew up you actually had to pull down your pants in order to moon someone. This is another non-issue. What I do find offensive are the constant Levitra and Cialis commercials I am bombarded with while watching an nfl game. Shut up already with that noise.

Ever since the Janet Jackson Super bowl halftime incident, the networks are running scared.
People really need to lighten up!
Were these highly judgemental people ever young?
Maybe there is a need for a separate game feed for the hypocritical conservatives and the religious wrong. Put it on a 10 second delay and have Howdy-Doodie and Mr. Rogers as their halftime entertainment.
Plus, instead of commercials they can have organized prayer...where they can pray for never having to see a women's breast or a player pulling down his pants. "THE HORROR!"
We are the only nation in the world that is so worried about nudity but are a-OK for our kids to watch violence on TV and video games and participate in violent sports.

Joe Buck must not watch the network that cuts his checks. "Who's your Daddy?" "The Simple Life?" "Joe Millionaire?" anyone?

I'm aghast at the prudishness of Joe Buck & JB and even Sportscenter that evening who wouldn't show the clip. A fine from the NFL is likely, and I'm completely against the fine.
All Randy Moss did was say a "f..k you" in his own way to Packers fans who were heckling him for the walking away incident against the skins. I think Moss should've gone a step further and feigned taking a dump at the goal post.
Moss is doing a great thing by taking all the pressure off of Tice and the Vikes, and bringing all the heat onto himself.
Now Robert Royal's TD dance....that's the definition of obscene!!! I think he toned it down in the last game. Time to cut out the double standard...if you're fining Moss, fine Royal as well. It isn't as though Moss' fine is going to bring about any character improvement.
