Exactly. Monkeydad 10-19-2011, 01:06 PM Well, the Panthers are 1-5, only beating the Jags in a monsoon where the running game was taken away...hurting Jacksonville more. They played the Cardinals, Packers, Saints and Bears close in high-scoring shootouts but got embarrassed by a mediocre Atlanta defense. It's obvious they have no defense of their own. We have one of the better defenses (other than Green Bay) that they've faced this year, so we will just have to score on their weak D to win. Newton will likely rack up plenty of yards, but our D has been stingy this year. Even last week, the Eagles had 4 gifts hand-given to them by Rex and our D only held them to 2 TDs. The Panthers are not a Vick/McCoy/Jackson/Maclin team...they're basically just Newton. Their RBs are decent but nothing special. Steve Smith is not what he used to be. We should win. I'll say 24-17.
