Hello Everyone,

Hope everybody is excited for a huge game against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. While a loss would not be crippling for the Redskins, they really have a chance to show that they're for real within this division and potentially take a lead with tough games also for the Giants and Cowboys.

Now to the questions:

Who should start at Running Back?

I have to go with Ryan Torrain. The Redskins have a real luxury right now with the guys they have at the running back position. I like all of these guys, but I think Torrain has the ability to take over football games. He did it a number of times last year, and he did it again against the St. Louis Rams. I would go with him.

Who is your favorite defensive player in the league to watch?

I absolutely love to watch Ndamukong Suh. The way that guy plays the game is unbelievable and he's very old school in his style of play, which is something I always like.

If you could pick the musical act for the Super Bowl, who would it be?

Edgar Winters (Frankenstien)

Is Ryan Kerrigans switch from a college defensive end to NFL 3-4 linebacker with such a short off-season hard to do?

Yes. That's extremely hard to do, and that's complete talent by Ryan Kerrigan. Rookie of the year type talent. There is so much to learn in the NFL, and to do it at a total position is very impressive. The combination of him and Orakpo has the potential to really be one of the NFL's best for the coming years.

Is it time for Beck to step in and replace Rex?

Not yet, but it is getting close. If Rex makes more bad turnovers as he has the past two games, then it is time to think about replacing him, as the rest of the team has been very good and he has kept teams in games so far .
He has to be better about turning the football over.

Do you think we're giving the defense too much praise too soon?

I really don't. They have earned the respect that they've gotten over the past few weeks. This week is probably their toughest test of the year, but they have earned the praise.

As a defensive player, what is your take on the defenseless receiver rule?

It's obviously good and bad. It makes it much harder on the defense, and there are obviously a number of awful calls that go on... but if its in the interest of protecting people, I do want the game to be as safe as possible. I know a number of people who played in the past who have issues now.

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping to talk to you after a big win next week!

Tony McGee's NFL career started in 1971 where he was a starting defensive end for the Chicago Bears. In 1974, Tony began a 7 year stint with the New England Patriots and earned the nickname, "Mac the Sack." His unique ability to swarm opposing quarterbacks helped coin the phrase, "designated pass rusher." Tony's career as a Washington Redskin began in 1982, and included a Super Bowl championship. Tony ended his spectacular career in 1985 with 106 career sacks and played in over 200 games -- a feat achieved only by a select group of NFL defensive linemen.
