I can see this defense getting better and better as Atogwe and Landry get more playing time together. :headbange

I don't really like a week 4 bye
Thank goodness we have a week 5 bye!
Butyeah I agree, I like having our bye in the middle of the season vs. early.

Its like spring break for the NFL.
I wonder if all the Redskins are in Panama City getting drunk on the beach.

I was going to post this in the Cooley thread but I see that got blown up. Oh well the rivalry continues...
Thom Loverro: Redskins-Cowboys rivalry never takes a break | Thom Loverro | NFL | Washington Examiner (http://washingtonexaminer.com/sports/nfl/2011/10/thom-loverro-redskins-cowboys-rivalry-never-takes-break)
"I will never make an apology to any offended Dallas fans, and I expect every Redskin fan to cheer at the folly of a Cowboy," he wrote on his blog, "The Cooley Zone," calling his comments "rivalry igniting." - Cooley
The rivalry has been so dormant between the two teams -- not the fans -- for so long that people aren't used to anyone in either uniform caring enough to ignite it.
There was a time when such comments were standard operating procedure between the Redskins and Cowboys -- and sometimes those comments would result in bizarre on-field incidents.
The difference is those incidents would not go viral.

Speaking of the bye week, how are you guys spending the day tomorrow? It's gonna be gorgeous here in the DC area. I'm gonna go for a run with the wife and probably hit the gym afterwards. My little brother is in town and it's his birthday, so I'm gonna take him out to dinner. Probably won't watch much football until the GB-Atl game at night.

Sounds like a pretty good day planned.
Doing some bicycling, weight lifting, cleaning house and watching football.

Did not want to create a new thread for these two thoughts and did not really see anywhere else to post these, one is appropriate for this thread and one if off topic.
1) Though I hate week 4 bye weeks it actually worked out very well for us. First we did not play and gained sole possession of first place (without tie breakers) and we are going to be well rested and healthier going into a very important divisional game against a beat up Iggles team.
2) I was wondering if we switch Orakpo and Kerrigan around this weekend. This would get Orakpo coming from Vicks blind side and force Vick to throw into a rushing Kerrigan who seems to play with his hands up better than Orakpo, even though they are both 6'4'' it just seems like he is better at altering/batting down throws.
Just two thoughts
