32 Vikings

It's time. Play Christian Ponder. There is nothing to be gained from playing Donovan McNabb.

hahaha....I love it.

I didn't listen to the interview, but it sounds like Cooley was joking around a bit. But I'm sure dumb a$$ Cowpuke fans are taking this seriously. I'm sure what Deion said is more critical than anything Cooley said (since he said something similar in the NFLN).

Add Deion Sanders, Chris Cooley to list of Tony Romo critics - ESPN Dallas (http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/7058207/add-deion-sanders-chris-cooley-list-tony-romo-critics)

In regards to drama, yeah there is no drama with this team this year. Even though a few fans would like to blow things out of proportion (D. Hall, QB controversy...sort of) we are not dealing with anything close to what we've dealt in the past. Other than close games and some fans creating controversy where there is none, the Redskins are quite boring in that department.

Well put and Im never changing my sig until I feel the drama is washed clean!!

"For me to beat Tony? I'm gonna be honest, I don't know what kind of cage fighting skills he has," Cooley told the radio station. "I would probably try to incorporate my wrestling ability, like when I was in high school. Obviously it's been awhile, but I didn't like to beat people fast. I like to embarrass 'em a little bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little bit."

That's comedy gold! lol

I know it's just a bit of trash talking, but i sure wish he would have just shut up. Look stupid when you're pretty much the second TE this year and you are talking smack.

Chris has earned his right to smack talk but I don't see that being the big deal as much as him dogging Romo when Rex is even more of a choke artist IMO.

And you would be right if Cooley was actually being serious, but he wasn't.

Anyone who takes CC seriously needs to have their head examined. I mean, he's talking about fighting him in a cage for crying out loud.

Apparently few Redskins fans weren't only one who are taking Cooley's comments seriously. This example is exactly what I am talking about when I once claimed that media often twist players' words, making it more dramatic.
