He was given repeated chances to recant his statements and he wouldn't....moron...or maybe I should say "C'mon Man!!"

Yeah I don't think it's racist either. Stupid and ignorant, but not racist. I feel like just because you wear a cowboy hat and have a belt buckle, people who aren't white are awfully quick to label you a racist. We should be more careful there.

Yeah, though I feel whites are more touchy-feely about race than anyone these days, IMO. ie, they're the quickest to label someone a racist.

Well....he's from Tennessee...does that count?

BTW, one of the great things about this country is the ability to voice your opinion...popular or no. I totally respect the man for NOT recanting his statements (whether I AGREE OR NOT) in some....BS insincere effort to save a network paycheck. Have an opinion...Stick to it. Popular or not.
BTW2, don't know to much about Jr. but he does have a song or two I like. And I think he has aptly demonstrated, he doesn't give a shit what you or I think....I like that

Wait, white people are the quickest to label people racist? Did I misunderstand that? If that's what you're saying, I strongly disagree.

I've heard people label Toby Keith as racist too.

I dunno much about country artists and their stances but people seem to love throwing that race card around with country music singers.

All I can remember is how people crucified the Dixie Chicks for saying how ashamed they were to be from the same state as Bush.

They never really recovered from that.

Yes, they are, but they label their own race as the racist in an effort to be PC (or whatever).

It's a right of passage or a president to be called Hitler now a days. The left did it to Bush, now the right is doing it to Obama. You can't hope for reelection till you get a public hitler reference. Congrats Barry, you've finally made it.
