mooby 10-02-2011, 10:01 PM Once again, fans not content with having two good players in one position
Technically it's two positions. So having two premier pass rushers in two positions shouldn't be a case of having excess "ballin."

No, this is just a probe into people's minds and how they view players. Had I posted this thread after the draft, I believe I would have gotten a unanimous "No". It is an oppurtunity for introspection. :D

Fair enough, still this seems like a silly argument. We have two great pass rushers, two good TEs, and three good RBs. I would take that rather than having only one good TE, one good pass rusher, or just one good RB.
rbanerjee23 10-02-2011, 10:06 PM Orakpo is still the man -- he is feared by coordinators around the league now, Kerrigan still isn't. Orakpo and Kerrigan are absolute beasts though and we may very well have one of the best LB corps in the league with Rak, Kerrigan, Fletch, and now McIntosh stepping up and a very reliable backup in Rob Jackson

Agreed. In the case of TE's and RB's I have no problem having excess talent, because that just means we have good depth. Good depth is never a bad thing.

This.
SirClintonPortis 10-02-2011, 10:08 PM Mann and Manley :D
What we have in reality would be fantasy for most other teams. It's like having Clay Matthews and Ware on the same team.
Actually Kerrigan is making Rak better as he draws more respect and blocking to slow him down. AND Rak will give supreme effort to keep up with Kerrigan. They are a ferocious duo and Rak was a monster today...
Tremendous Defensive unit this year...Cannot wait to see what happens next offseason with aquisitions...FA's and Jarvis Jenkins coming back

Pretty much how I feel. And let's not forget Riley and Zo. I think Rocky is absolutely having his best season...good enough to keep Riley from starting which I was really looking forward to seeing, but Rocky is ballin' right now. I wouldn't put Kerrrigan ahead of Rak just yet but he does seem to have a better knack for causing TO's and being around the ball. Of course as much as Rak gets held it's amazing he can make any plays at all. I think the HC and GM did a great job in getting Kerrigan as him and Orakpo are the perfect compliments to each other.

They compliment each other, even make Bowen, Carriker, and Neild look good. Jenkins is a beast of a pass rusher too.
