I am hardly a fan of Danny Boy and the Redskins' FO. But if you want to read about how much worse it can get, check out this column by Scott Ostler in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Now there is an organization that puts the "fun" in "dysfunctional"...

I have a friend who is a huge Niners fan. He compares John York to Dr. Kevorkian, and the way York systematically is killing that team, he may not be far off.

I must say, Daniel Synder has improved, albeit just a hair of improvement! At least he seems to have calmed down on wanting ot fire a coach after one season! Hopefully now Daniel has found out that big name stars doesn't equate to wins....there is a work ethic involved. I think hiring Gibbs to also serve Presidential duties shows that hopefully Dan will back off a little bit while staying in the know. As long as our coach has the final say in who plays and who doesn't, then we should be fine.

Jack Kent Cooke wasn't exactly an invisible owner either...maybe not quite like Synder...but I remember Gibbs talking about Cooke not being a "pusher-over!"
