For his hit on Dallas Clark last weekend, his next offense will bring a $500,000 fine! Wow

What do you guys think? Is this fair?

After 4 offenses - yeah. John Lynch is a punk.

I think its fair. Its about time they came hard on this guy before he really hurts someone.

He's been cheap shotting fools for years. It's about time it really starts to hit him where it hurts... his pocket book.

Everyone here can sound off about Lynch and his fine and how he is a "punk" right now, but if Sean Taylor does not clean up his act, he'll be getting the same fines pretty soon. And when that happens, it will be just as fair and just and deserved as the one for Lynch is now.

There are only two ways to stop that kind of stuff on the field and the NFL has gone the "economic route". Do it repeatedly and we'll make the fine so enormous that you won't do it again...

There is another way but that would be far too creative for the league to adopt...

I knew SC was going to work Taylor in to his take on Lynch! LOL

Seriously though, I agree Taylor is headed down the same road. He's clearly become a guy the league has their eye on.

It's not a matter of if, but when Taylor lays someone out and draws a substantial fine. When it does happen I wonder if we'll call him a punk or a beast.

Damn I'm starting to think like SC LOL

Im hoping Taylor will be getting more picks in the future and wont have to rely on his hitting as much. But yea, the leauge is watching him

Taylor has yet to try to injure someone going head to head with them. That brings nothing but bad. He's hit them hard, and some risky tackles (high tackles) but nothing vicious. You try to slow em' down, not kill em.

Can anyone tell me what exactly the hit was, because I didn't see it. And I'm just wondering how it compares to Donovan Darius' clothesline of a couple of weeks ago. Because he was a first time offender and got fined 75K, then shouldn't a four-time offender be fined more?
