Tony will be playing next Monday night. I hope Ryan and Brian are foaming at the mouth after hearing the news.
Think Mort may be jumping the gun a bit there. Too early to know for sure...but he'd know more so than I would

I disagree. I was high on the kid, but apparently he isn't really close to being able to the take the field as an NFL receiver yet. That's what ESPN980's Chris Russell said anyway. If that's true, he'd probably hurt us.
I don't think that Hankerson will be getting on the field anytime soon either, but I wouldn't take Chris Russell's opinion on this too highly. He also thought the redskins were going to cut Banks, and probably still wants them to because he's just a "specialist".

I'll try this again..... all media outlets are basing their assumption Tony will be playing off of the HC saying today in his media session that Tony will be playing. It is also understood he made that comment prior to Romo having his MRI or X-Rays or whatever. It has been reported late that Romo had a "collapsed lung" not just a broken rib. This is the lates from the team/medical staff....
Dallas Cowboys (http://www.nfl.com/teams/dallascowboys/profile?team=DAL) quarterback Tony Romo (http://www.nfl.com/players/tonyromo/profile?id=ROM787981), who played with fractured ribs, also had a collapsed lung and will undergo additional tests this week, the team said Monday.
"Additional testing on the fractured rib of Tony Romo today revealed that he also has evidence of a pneumothorax -- a condition that is not unusual for an injury such as the one Romo sustained in the game in San Francisco," the Cowboys said in a statement. "Varying degrees of a pneumothorax can heal in differing time frames. The Cowboys medical team will continue to monitor the situation and conduct additional tests as the week progresses."
Romo's status for the Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins (http://www.nfl.com/teams/washingtonredskins/profile?team=WAS) remains "up in the air," a team source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.
NOTE: In the last sentence it says Romo's status is "up in the air". Personally I highly doubt he plays and I can't imagine the League would allow him to play knowing he has such a serious injury and personally I feel it's worse then a concussion.

Maybe Tony will fly to Europe to receive the stem cell treatment Peyton Manning did :)

I think it was T Owens who went and had stem cell treatment to his knee.

With the pounding this guy takes in the "backfield" it was bound to happen.

i know it sounds horrible, but a pneumothorax isnt too serious. of course, it sucks, but people spontaneously collapse one of their lungs all of the time. my handymans son just recently had one, along with a cracked rib, and he plays football in high school. know how many practices he missed? just one, the day after it happened. he played the next friday night as well, not sure if he performed well, but you get the point. a cracked rib with a collapsed lung SOUNDS a hell of alot worse than it really is. all it means is a little extra air in your pleural space, which limits the lung from inflating on inspiration. after a needle decompression, which i am sure he has already had, it usually fixes itself and heals very rapidly.
