Victory Monday

I wonder if Ryan Kerrigan has stopped grinning yet.

Did you happen to see that thing he did on the sideline with his lips? It looked like he was imitating a horse or something, it had me laughing pretty hard.

A wise man once said that life isn't about the achievements, it's about the struggle. We have a long road ahead with a young, fired up team. We likely won't achieve much this season, all told, but I will enjoy the struggle.

It sure was nice to have a 14 point lead to work with late in the game for a change!


Man, I was on the edge until that Gaffney TD...Hell, I didn't even know he caught it until I did a double take on it. It was a great feeling to stomp on the Giants on the second half.

Being a Redskin's fan in NY today is quite satisfying. Lots of sour faces when they see my Skins' shirt.

All day I thought how bittersweet it would be because of the anniversary of 9/11. With New York getting beat up that bad ten years ago, it almost felt wrong to root against them. But the Jets and Bills made me feel better about that ;-). On cloud 9 for a week!

My son got it from a cheerleader at Fan Appreciation Day last year. He's 3 so an adult Large shirt doesn't fit him yet....so I took it from him.

Bonus points...my wife is from NY and wore her Redskins shirt for the game...dressed up both of our kids in Redskins gear too. (baby girl had a Skins bib on!)

TQBR ratings are out for this week's qb's that have played so far. Guess who had the highest rating in the NFCE? Honestly I didn't think his rating would've been that high, considering the sacks and the fumble, but I'll take it. There's a nice little breakdown in that post.
