I thought the refs blew that call on Gaffney. The only question to me was if his foot was on the line before the catch and even that wasn't enough to overturn it to me.

Also, the second "drop" by Armstrong was just a good defensive play by the Giants' DB. Still it would have been nice for him to make that grab.

I was a little disappointed in AA with his 2 drops. Those are catches he needs to make in order to take his game to the next level. He helped make up for it with that nice diving catch at the goal line.

Yeah, that was a bad call. It shows that they can get things wrong even with replay.

It was good call. i think he did not have both feet on the ground when he made the catch. He started picking up his foot and then put it out of bounds.

Not a big fan of instant replay. I never can quite celebrate any play, without the fear that it could be called back. Not very fun and who benefits? No one.

Well, except for the team that has a incorrect call against them.

[QUOTE=44ever;834640]My biggest ? is why no RB rotation??? I really expected to see Torain and Helu. Hightower did what I expected in the 1st half but was very one dimensional the 2nd. Why the heck have 3 great backs and only use 1? With that said, Great Game! HTTR!!![/Q

I don't see the need for much of Torain...I see him more as insurance in case Hightower goes down. I would like to see more Helu mixed in for a change of pace though.

I think the call was correct, I also think he should have made that catch. You have to make sure your feet are in bounds in that situation keep them locker where they are and fall out of bounds, it was from a standstill so its not going to get you hurt.

I am 100% positive on yesterdays game though, the oline not perfect but way better than last year, the D was awesome in my opinion and forget about the safety play, Doughty is a back up and will always play as such. Receivers dropped a few balls but that happened around the league yesterday! Love a week 1 win against a divisional foe!

On the topic of blown calls, I came up with a great drinking game: Take a chug every time Orakpo is held and there's no call. Please bear in mind that you won't make it past the first half upright.

Yeah, its Gaffney responsibility to ensure he gets his feet down...he had time and I think he rushed it. But its moot because i believe the next play fred davis carved up the secondary with like a 25 yard gain. I expect next game Armstrong and Gaffney will clean up their play and be more effective.
