Steve Smith active (11:31 a.m. ET): Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that WR Steve Smith (knee, probable) is active. He's probably not going to play a full set of snaps in his first game back, but his progress bears watching, considering how quickly he has returned to the field. Keep Smith stashed on benches, particularly in PPR formats, and track him closely.

Do what? They were talking about this guy being out for about 4-6 weeks in the regular season. How is he active for week 1?

It'll be a slobberknocker in Baltimore. NFL kicks off with a bang this week.
