Now he is blaming himself. It's funny how realizing the impact of your statements in a contract year(AKA his agent telling him to stfu), can change a player's tune.

Would've liked LL to be there open day but it's time for someone else to step up we have more depth now. IMO.

Agree if he plays watchout, I expect good things from this guy.

I think Doughty will get the call. He's not as athletic as Landry, but I think if we put Gomes in there he'd be a lot more susceptible to play fakes and getting caught deep. I like how aggressive Gomes is but that can be his downfall as well. I don't expect Doughty to play like Landry but I'm not as down on him as some other members of the board are.

The other option is...Barnes goes back to safety and Westbrook and Thompson move up the CB depth chart.
This may happen if Landry is still out by the time Buchanon returns

What is the 'real story' behind why he is not ready? It seemed like there was plenty of time to get him healthy and he is still out. Did he go against doctors advice in terms of a procedure? Or is it lock out related? Who knows what the real story is?
