True. But to be honest, I felt like it wasn't even much of a qb competition from the way the media were talking. People felt like it was a given that Beck would take the job barring horribly poor play. He did have a bad game against Tampa but I thought that would've been a pass given it was the last preseason game, playing with backups, etc. I guess I am a little suprised, but honestly Grossman did play just as good as Beck did this preseason. chrisl13 09-05-2011, 02:51 PM Beck had a terrible game against TB....against their 3's and 4's. Rex performed well against the 1's of Pittsburgh and Baltimore and had a better stat line. Chico23231 09-05-2011, 02:52 PM Both will play this year most likely. I not really that surprised, like it was said previously Rex had the better preseason CultBrennan59 09-05-2011, 02:52 PM I felt like Both QB's were equal this preseason, and that Beck should have gotten the start based on the fact that he's an unknown with potential and accuracy where as Grossman is known for what he can do.
