I was a little shocked when I heard the news .. I was out in the middle of Wisconsin enjoying Pearl Jam 20, the 20th anniv. of the greatest band of my era. Hell of a show, getting back to the point...
Nice, can't wait for the movie to come out

Very encouraging to hear the other guys like Rex. At the very least he seems to have the confidence of coaches and players alike.
I hope he starts "solid" and builds steadily through the season.

I just watched Rex's interview on the Redskins site.
I found it very impressive and I recommend people take a look at where our starting QB's head is at.
This player has matured and he's obviously quite intelligent.
I really am hopeful that this guy can take it to a very different level than what most people are expecting.
He may have worked hard, and wanted it badly, but invariably JB always throws off of his Beck foot!
:)
Would u say he put his Beck, foot forward?

Just read it myself, I really liked what he had to say. He seems ready for the challenge.

Beck's reaction
John Beck's natural reaction? He's pissed, of course - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=nfp-20110907_john_becks_natural_reaction_hes_pissed_of _course)

I dont think they are going to be asking Rex to win the games with his arm. He will have to do it eventually during the season, but I think we are going to run the SH*T out of the ball, 30 times a game, if possible which will open up a lot of deep routes. Which i think is the reason they kept Ryan Tarain vs Royster. HE is a proven guy that can handle the game and has produced. Another one I think is keeping Stallworth. Another guy that can stretch the field and with him, Moss and Gaffney you can't ignore them and can't leave them one on one.
I personally think it was the right move. Rex is a vet, I think the stuff from the past is in the past. The last 3 games last year, plus the preseason games he looks like a different QB.
