I wonder how many receivers we will dress on game day. I'm thinking just 4 (not including banks).

I think 5 would be the minumum if you truly needed to air it out in a 2 minute drill situation, and to have someone cover injuries. BigHairedAristocrat 09-06-2011, 12:12 AM 5 receivers plus 3 tight ends plus banks? That's quite a bit. GusFrerotte 09-06-2011, 12:18 AM 5 receivers plus 3 tight ends plus banks? That's quite a bit. I understand, but say you are down by a TD and get the ball back with only 20 seconds left. No time to have any RBs in the backfield, you need wideouts. Also, what if you get into a shootout with say the Giants or the Rams, etc and someone gets popped? If you got the weapons use them. Odds are none of these things will come to pass, but you never know. Be prepared is the best policy. I am from Allen Park, the home of the Lions, and the last two times we played you at Frod Field we lost, and looked horrible. I got heckled walking around Greektown in my Skins Jersey the day the Lions snapped their losing streak against us. True -- When KVB and Suh converged on Grossman for a sack/fumble/scoop-and-score after Shannie decided to yank a healthy D McNab -- that was nice. The Skins have not enjoyed their recent trips to Ford Field much. But I was at the game at FedEx (season opener I believe of 09 or 10) to see the Skins pummle the Lions. Sat there with my wife wearing my Lions cap and got trash talked all day. It was a hot day, too. Skins grounded and pounded the hell out of us with Clinton Portis. skinsfan69 09-06-2011, 12:58 PM This forum's Dirtbag359 complied the following video of Keiland Williams. I wish we'd go to the mustard pants full time, like in the 70's. 12thMan 09-06-2011, 01:02 PM Tweet from Fred Davis: use to have 83 in college. in my USC days you know when we were ranked no 1 every year lol. new number new person new team. leggo Beemnseven 09-06-2011, 02:22 PM Horatio didn't make it, eh? Bummer. No big whoop. A Vinny pick -- a special teamer, if he made more plays they would have kept him. |
