It's gonna be sweet when he is injured by week three and making that money sitting on his couch. 12thMan 08-29-2011, 08:59 PM Somewhere at the PETA headquarters heads just exploded all over the place. CRedskinsRule 08-29-2011, 09:00 PM Hope it works out as well for them as our $100 million guy worked for us! Seriously huge risk for the iggles when it comes to injury and guaranteed money. Hope they shell out to Jackson too, then there system goes kaboom 12thMan 08-29-2011, 09:10 PM Umm...so this is Vick's....wait for it...second $100 million contract. Unreal. saden1 08-29-2011, 09:10 PM I am happy for him. He personifies redemption and I doubt he will disappoint. 44ever 08-29-2011, 09:15 PM Good for him! mooby 08-29-2011, 09:21 PM Somewhere at the PETA headquarters heads just exploded all over the place. :laughing- Wonder how much he's going to donate to charity. And the Vick comeback is complete. This'll be much sweeter when he gets injured and/or doesn't repeat numbers wise from last year. SolidSnake84 08-29-2011, 09:36 PM Hope it works out as well for them as our $100 million guy worked for us! Seriously huge risk for the iggles when it comes to injury and guaranteed money. Hope they shell out to Jackson too, then there system goes kaboom I don't think it's even remotely fair to compare McNabb to Vick. McNabb was already aging, banged up, and past his prime when he arrived here. Vick is still a young man that is playing like a young man and is just starting to hit his stride as a pro, if he continues at the pace he did last year. Vick is easily worth the money if he can keep performing like he did last year. I doubt he disappoints. I see the negative firestorm around the net. Haters are gonna come out of the woodwork now. Factor away Vick's time in Prison, and you have the same situation as Peyton Manning; a 100 million dollar contract. Not trying to open the Michael Vick Prison debate again, but i seriously think thats the only reason why people are bitching about his contract now....If he would have never went to prison, would people think he is worth the money? I think so. Schneed10 08-29-2011, 09:40 PM I have been impressed and pleased with the way he has handled himself. But cynic in me still says let's see what he does once he gets his big contract. I think I agree with saden, I doubt he'll disappoint. But now we get to see the real Mike Vick, the guy who doesn't have to toe the company line to earn a payday. |
