I think MS just likes pushing the competition angle. That too actually. Competition is good...but I just feel that if a QB performs against starters, he should get the nod. GusFrerotte 08-25-2011, 11:47 PM I will take experience and someone who is cool under pressure over a more athletic guy any day. Case in point, the ATL Falcons. They can't get to the playoffs with MR Wonderful Vick, but can with the rook Ryan the next season. Vick is a freak athletically, but Ryan has a good head on his shoulders, and at the time was a better passer(still is). If I am Coughlin or Andy Reid, I will love playing a Beck led Skins offense. Give the guy heavy pressure and he is apt to panic and do something stupid. How did Beck never crack 3rd string when he started 4 games as a rook? I feel this way as well. Our QB situation is what it is this year.
