Hey Chucky, that was Beck going against the Ravens back ups. :) Yeah but Beck brings so much more to the table athletically, that's all he's talking about. I agree with Gruden, I think Beck starts 9/11 artmonkforhallofamein07 08-25-2011, 11:31 PM Well, they've done a fine job debunking the "weak arm" myth about Beck. Agreed. Beck's arm seems pretty strong to me. htownskinfan 08-25-2011, 11:31 PM Beck looked good but it was the backups Rex was impressive in 2 min drill getting a td against the vaulted ravens starting def, it's not the same as what beck just did --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=29.941355,-95.636263 - Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk NYCskinfan82 08-25-2011, 11:31 PM I don't think so. He looked mediocre against the starting D then looks great against the backups. Unless Rex really puts up one dog of a performance the last game, he is the starter. You need someone that is consistent, steady. I do admit that Beck shows great potential, but if we do resign Rex and draft say a Kellen Moore, I still say Beck is back at QB #3. Have you watched all 3 of the pre-season games. SirClintonPortis 08-25-2011, 11:32 PM I don't think so. He looked mediocre against the starting D then looks great against the backups. Well, this is his first time going against second stringers, and with some offensive players who are technically second stringers. Not to mention that he had a rather small sample size. SirClintonPortis 08-25-2011, 11:32 PM Damn, who's #29? Good effort but bad timing there. Mustard-boy Gomes. GTripp0012 08-25-2011, 11:32 PM Ideally, one or both of the two touchable oldies gets cut.Well, Stallworth's a given, but you do the math. It's really not a bad thing to have four receivers who can all be in your top three...but then when you consider that they're all blocking Hankerson, a guy we actually need to play well, then you can see the problem. Hog1 08-25-2011, 11:33 PM I woukdnt be opposed to this 2 series each qb during reg season Also I would think it would make it harder on defenses --- I am here: Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=29.940976,-95.636110) - Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not sure that will work in the pro's Coach Spurrier? Shamefully, I was thinking the same thing...... mooby 08-25-2011, 11:33 PM That was a nice throw by Tyrod Taylor and great catch by the Ravens guy there. I thought #29 (was that Gomes? Not sure who that is) had the pick for a second, but apparently not. |
