Ruhskins 08-24-2011, 04:22 PM Although Josh Wilson looked kinda bad in his first redskin preseason game, he still looked better than DeAngelo. This is a position we should watch with caution. They both looked pretty rusty, but it was the first preseason game. I just hope the defensive backs as a whole unit prevents any big plays. This has been an issue with this area for the past couple of seasons. As I said before, I hope the addition of Atogwe helps out with this problem. rbanerjee23 08-24-2011, 04:27 PM how do i change it? I actually don't know -- just my lame attempt to be funny GTripp0012 08-24-2011, 11:07 PM I think Wilson will struggle this year and may lose his position to Kevin Barnes et al at some point as Haslett scrambles for scapegoats. But he's still young and I would bet optimistically on him justifying his contract over the next three years. He was really good last year. He won't make a lot of plays on the ball there, but if he can prevent touchdowns in that deep zone, he's helping. I don't know if there's anything he can do if receivers like DeSean Jackson continue to get behind our corners in deep coverage. We just have to hope the line can get pressure on quarterbacks when the offense tries to go double move on the outside. It's amazing how a good DL can make DBs look good! That Guy 08-25-2011, 10:46 AM i think he's a downgrade from carlos. carlos is a pretty eh #1, but wilson is a good #2, so... Alvin Walton 08-25-2011, 12:21 PM I don't buy the Otogwe and Landry support hoohaa. This guy has to be like Tom Hanks and survive out there on that island for crucial periods of time. http://images.picturesdepot.com/photo/c/cast_away_the_movie-25205.jpg |
