18 turnovers for Rex in his 8 starts here. He's just killing us.
Rex sure isnt lighting things up but what happens if Beck goes in and stinks it up worse than Rex in the next 2 or 3 games? That would really paint Shanny into a corner. That is why I think Shanny wont be so fast to pull Rex because once he does he's played his hand and really limited his options.

Obviously there are pros and cons to every decision. All I know is Rex isn't getting any better, he is what he is, why not give Beck a shot? What do we really have to lose? To keep trotting Rex out there because you're afraid that Beck might also suck isn't a good enough reason for me.
We're not good enough to overcome 2 turnovers a game from our QB, not many teams are. Beck doesn't have to be spectacular to be an improvement over Rex.

I think Lavar makes the best argument for keeping Rex. Post Sports Live: Has the John Beck era begun? - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/post-sports-live-has-the-john-beck-era-begun/2011/10/18/gIQASrZluL_video.html)
Just for the record, I want BECK!
Good link. I find it interesting that the 1 guy who played in the NFL thinks Rex should start while the 2 sports writers dont. LaVar is completely right about stability and stability is one thing this organization hasnt had is a very long time.
For the record I'd stick with Rex (for Lavar's stability reason) because I think the O has so many problems that a QB change isnt going to suddenly make them a points scoring machine.
let's put this thread out of it's misery so in 2 weeks when we go back to Rex we don't have this thing bumped
