According to the Washington Times. This could be big for us if we are able to sign him. It will enable us to draft Kellen Winslow, just as the Butler signing would have. Taylor could himself go to safety.

But right now its just a visit.

We don't need cornerbacks.. Let's get a bunch of defensive tackles. rookies that may be no good at all and then we can be the panthers defensive line. Taylor would add depth and he may be better than Springs i say sign him you gotta have 3 or 4 corners on the field at the smae time especially in Williams offense.

The only Taylor that will be playing safety next season is named Sean. Williams wants a solid nickle CB. Period.

Ade Jimoh is much better with the ladies than Bobby Taylor - it's a fact.

So, while Taylor may in some circles be viewed as a better "football player" - Ade will always be a better "player" - making Taylor just a "player-hater".

We don't want Bobby Taylor, too "old" (31 for 2004 season)? Yeah, maybe he should hang up his cleats and head for retirement. If you're over 30, you can't possibly be a successful defensive back in the NFL.

If he did move to safety it would give him a chance to prolong his career, just like Ronnie Lott did.

We don't know what he will be willing to play for. Anyway, the Redskins clearly have a proposal they want to make to him.

I would love this guy to be a Redskin - he would add a lot of intelligence, experience, and ability to our team. He is a long time all pro quality player and I think he'll be in the league for a good long while.

Bobby Taylor is not a physical enough tackler to play safety. In recent years he has been constantly getting hurt and missing parts of season. Saftey's have to play run support between the tackles. I don't think Bobby Taylor would last very long. Plus he is old. If we get him, it is to play corner back.
Getting another corner via free agency and drafting Sean Talyor will solidify our secondary and our defense will be greatly improved from last year. Plus with the new coaching staff, our defense would be fine.

What if we drafted KWII and he played both ways - TE on offense and Safety on defense? That would help all of our problems. Can you imagine him breaking those WR's in half?! Plus who knows how to cover those TE's across the middle better than a TE?

Ade's always here to solve your problems...

I hope that Spring's days of injury are behind him, but it would be foolish to assume so. We need bodies at CB.
