Well we have looked like ass in the preseason for quite some time and that sure did translate to the performance in regular season as far as I could tell.
NFL Preseason Week #2wilsowilso 08-19-2011, 01:03 AM Well we have looked like ass in the preseason for quite some time and that sure did translate to the performance in regular season as far as I could tell. skinsfanthru&thru 08-19-2011, 01:34 AM I think this year vs years past means much more with all the missed camps. These games are going to be a rather good impression of how the teams will be playing the first 3-4 games of the year. Sure the wins still don't matter at all during preseason, but I think how the starters win or lose games 2 & 3 of the preseason speaks volumes on how each team will begin the regular season. Lotus 08-19-2011, 01:58 AM We beat the Steelers Steelers beat the Dream Team Ergo, we are the Dream Team warriorzpath 08-19-2011, 02:34 AM I don't know about the dream team, but at least the eagles took the crown of offeason champs from the redskins. And now hopefully they now inherit all the problems that the redskins have experienced for most of the past decade. The irony of picking up the biggest free agent is: he plays defense and the defense as a whole may be their biggest weakness. It's not very publicized but their longtime oline coach switching to be their dc is a big question mark. If you look at all the best defenses in the league - they all have very strong defensive coordinators. I don't think he lasts the whole season as the eagles dc. Their only saving grace is the dline coach. Dirtbag59 08-19-2011, 02:59 AM Official. Skins class of the Beast. Skins might end up winning the McNabb trade yet. I posted this before but maybe Joyner and his numbers mumbo jumbo is smarter then I give him credit for. Michael Vick wasn't anywhere near as good as his 2010 numbers suggest One of the reasons Philadelphia won the NFC East in 2010 is that Vick had a near-MVP campaign, but the fact is he benefitted from more luck than maybe any other quarterback in the league. He had only 19.4 percent of his potential interceptions turn into actual interceptions. That total was tied for the lowest interception luck factor rate in the league and indicates he was a huge beneficiary of fortunate bounces. Then again this might be the universes way of teasing us. SOUL-SKINS 08-19-2011, 06:57 AM Well we have looked like ass in the preseason for quite some time and that sure did translate to the performance in regular season as far as I could tell. Very good point........... Chico23231 08-19-2011, 08:08 AM One thing about the Eagles' defense, you should be able to run on it all day. hooskins 08-19-2011, 08:10 AM Means nothing..... Unfortunately. Vick made some horrible throws and decisions. Horrible. Regardless if its preseason, it not a good sign. Swarley 08-19-2011, 08:39 AM let us not forget we have another pre season game to play today before we start gloating. Jontrem 08-19-2011, 08:47 AM Official. Skins class of the Beast.
