I want to see most of the rookies (Royster, Helu, Paul, Robinson, Hankerson, JJ, Kerrigan, Neild) and see who looks really good/good enough to make the team.
I want there to be no injuries of course
I want to see how good Cofield looks at the NT position.
I want to see if Riley is better than McIntosh.
I want to see the Steelers get serious injuries on there team, because I hate them!

I am excited to see how our front seven do. I think the lackluster performance of last year cannot continue this year, and i hope it doesnt.
What I really hope for is for one or two rookies to really stand out and have great games. Talent and youth can do alot for a franchise, tis just hard to mix the two and get production out of the jumble. Hopefully we have a couple rooks that will be premier players in this league.

No injuries, want to see the rookies play. I want to be able to effectively run the ball and stop the run on d.

I'm dying to see how Hankerson performs. I fell in love with Malcolm Kelly's athleticism, his long frame, and his big hands. But of course he couldn't stay healthy. Hankerson has a similar build and I'm hoping he shines and has a successful career.
I also want to see:
how our run game does without Torain. This will be a good test against the #2 defense from last year. If we carve them up then I'll have great confidence in our running game this year.
Our defense,
Obviously I want to see no injuries at all

Hoping to see a good effort by our revamped defense. (particularly the D-line)

HANKERSON- I love his build and athleticism. I hope he shines because we all know we need more capable receivers outside of AA and Moss.
RUNNING GAME- I want to see how well we do against this stout defense. If we carve them up then that will give me great confidence in our deep running back corp.
DEFENSIVE LINE- With all these new acquisitions (Coefield, Bowen, Jenkins) I'm dying to see how well they fit in this 3-4. I've heard nothing but good things about Coefield and Jenkins so I want to see them in action against another team.
AND NO INJURIES!

I'm excited to see how the OL/DL perform. Also Helu, and if the WRs are able to get separation.

I personally find the whole John Beck-Kyle wanted him with the 10th overall pick-the Shanahan's have loved him for years-he talks to the media like he's the starter during the offseason-crap totally absurd. So I hope Rex Grossman plays great and everyone can stop this Beck nonsense.
I'm also interested to see the play of both the DL and OL, and hopefully Hankerson hangs on to the ball.

Yeah, according to KS and MS, Beck is the best thing since sliced bread so I'm curious to see how he does. I personally think Rex is going to start against the Giants on opening day but let's see.
Regardless of how Rex plays, Beck will get his shot. We know what we have in Rex, not so much with Beck. It's only fair to kick the tires on Beck and see what he's got.
