MTK 08-09-2011, 07:26 PM So we've all decided Royster will be a non-factor? Good point, let's see how he looks in the games. Sounds like he's been having a good camp. diehard 08-09-2011, 07:31 PM So we've all decided Royster will be a non-factor? He won't be a factor. SmootSmack 08-09-2011, 07:39 PM Royster is the guy I know was on their radar leading up to the draft. I don't know if Helu was as well or if they were surprised to get him. My guess is Helu has the advantage, based on what I've heard so far (and what I'm sure everyone else has too). But it does seem that we're dismissing Royster awfully quickly. And I suspect that has as much to do with the fact he's a Penn State RB than anything else. In the meantime, read more hatterade from the media on the Redskins (particularly Roy Helu) NFL.com news: Under-the-radar rookies poised to impress during preseason (http://www.nfl.com/trainingcamp/story/09000d5d82156f9f/article/undertheradar-rookies-poised-to-impress-during-preseason) NC_Skins 08-09-2011, 07:42 PM So we've all decided Royster will be a non-factor? Of course we have. See my sig for further details. diehard 08-09-2011, 07:43 PM Royster is the guy I know was on their radar leading up to the draft. I'm higher on Helu because he's much faster (possible home runs) and because I think he is a natural in Shanny's system. But if I am wrong and Royster kills it, then 3 cheers for him. Hog1 08-09-2011, 09:55 PM Of course we have. See my sig for further details. I think you're on.....their radar.. FRPLG 08-09-2011, 10:35 PM Interesting to see Gaffney listed as a #1 reciever. If that pans out to the season start it makes the Jarmon trade somewhat brilliant. I thought the same earlier today. If Gaffney ends up being decent for us as 2/3 WR and Hightower contributes like everyone seems to think he can then we'd have traded Jarmon and Holliday...one guy who'd have been fighting for a spot and another who MAY have been fighting for a spot...for two starting offensive weapons. It's way too early to say really but when projecting it out those trades look about as good as can be in the NFL (value wise). FRPLG 08-09-2011, 10:37 PM So we've all decided Royster will be a non-factor? Hard to tell where he finds a spot barring a surprise cut. |
