Kind of hard to choose from these guys for ROTY if only one or two of of them ever sees the field.

That Guy 08-11-2011, 12:31 AM DONT BET ON ROOKIE WRS!!!!111!!oneoneone besides boldin and colston, WRs just dont tend to be any good the first time out. I think 90% of rookie wrs don't really have an impact (600+ yards even). If he does, great, but there are 4 WRs i'd put in front of him right now that have had good production, whereas rbs have a good record of starting strong (and wearing out around week 12) and being factors (800-1000+ yards) as rookies. Plus helu is behind a guy in a foot cast, so... skinster 08-11-2011, 02:27 PM I'd say hankerson because Helu has much competition to get through. I'd take our backup WR over our 3rd string RB anyday in who will produce more. Especially when it seems that our backfield will be very crowded. MTK 08-11-2011, 03:14 PM Hankerson needs to clean up those drops or he's not going to see much PT. redsk1 08-11-2011, 03:15 PM I'm going w/ Helu. 53Fan 08-12-2011, 03:03 AM Love Hankerson and I think he'll work hard and get over the dropsies but you've got to think Helu will be given more opportunities. Royster could surprise some people but I'll go with Helu. Terpfan76 08-12-2011, 10:30 AM I voted Helu. He reminds me of a young Portis and I also feel he'll end up getting plenty of chances to play. Honestly, I wouldn't at all be surprised if he was the starter by week 8 or 9, especially if he can learn to pick up blitzes. I also think Hankerson has a good chance at being a really good one, but our qb situation just doesn't look good enough. Maybe we get lucky and he's our Marvin Harrison and next year we get our Peyton Manning. SkinzWin 08-13-2011, 12:24 AM Looks like everyone that said Hank Hill might be eating their words if he doesn't pick it up from here on out. Had a pretty poor game tonight. vallin21 08-13-2011, 12:32 AM Voted Hank, but if his drops continue he won't see the field. Right now it's a toss up between Helu and Royster, and which ever one backs up Hightower, will have the most impact. |
