Instead, just catch the mist, catch the myth, catch the mystery, catch the drift.

Longtimefan 08-04-2011, 03:14 PM I don't think it is hate. Or Hatte.
When you suck as long as we have (1992) and your owner (Danny) used to love seeing himself on TV as much as he used to, it is deserved criticism. Not hate.
We Redskins fans are quick to laugh at the perennially awful teams like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit (no longer bad), St. Louis (also no longer terrible), etc. Guess what....we are part of that list until we can be a consistent playoff team.
You want the shit talk to stop.....start winning.
We have been embarrassingly bad at times in the last three years and when Spurrier was here. Add in all the embarrassing Snyderatto moments and it is safe to say we earned the shit talk.
Winning cures everything.
Plus..who really cares what others have to say about us.
Let's take care of our own business and punch some people in the mouth on the field this coming season.
HTTR!

We need to look no further for a perfect example than the Green Bay Packers, last years SBW; A team that went through an unbelievable drought between the years of Vince Lombardi and Mike Homlgren. Twenty three years separate the two coaches and the Packers had only three winning seasons during that time span. Now the Packers are the talk of everybody's town.
"Just win baby!!" problem solved.
tomsawyer 08-04-2011, 03:16 PM And how do you know all this?
have you ever seen any of them say a good thing about the skins? since i can't really leave my home because of mobility issues,i read and watch the sports channels during the day.
can't tell you all the unfair stuff i have seen people say about the skins on nfl network and espn.
Whatever you do SS, don't put him down as arrogant.
do that, and i won't put you down as an a$$hole!

Basically. I love our fans that get mad when people like Hodge or Jaws don't project the Redskins to go to the Super Bowl.
SmootSmack 08-04-2011, 03:20 PM wait, was I just offered the chance not to be called an a$$hole?
And yes I have heard them say good things about the Redskins, when deserved, sometimes even when not deserved. I've also heard others say good things about the team such as last year when Mike Greenberg (who really couldn't care less about the Skins) say he thought the Redskins would finish the season strong because they are a tough, hardworking team with a good core group of leaders who won't allow the team to simply quit.
Don't confuse a critique with hatred
I think there's some middle ground to both arguments. Yes winning will solve a lot. But at the same time, there are definitely those out there that are never happy no matter what. Or in other words they get paid to act that way and say over the top things.

It can sometimes get quite funky around here on game days, and the next day too when we don't play well.
