SmootSmack 08-03-2011, 10:12 PM RIP. I remember when I was a kid watching ABC on Friday nights (before it became popular with TGIF). And I had no idea with Webster followed by Blue Thunder I was watching three of the NFL's greatest players in Alex Karras, Bubba Smith, and Dick Butkus sandtrapjack 08-04-2011, 07:41 AM Bubba Smith was from my hometown in Texas. He was a standout player on a very good team at a predominantly black high school there. I remember my Dad taking me to high school games and on a few occasions we saw Bubba play high school ball. He was a special player at a great time in pro football. Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk |
